Stop Chasing Leads. Start Getting Chosen.

It's insanely unfair.

How can a few businesses get most of the lions share while the rest has to fight for scraps?

Is this the way it's suppose to be? Are we destined to be in the bottom of the totem pole?

Look at this:

  • 61% of marketers say lead generation is their biggest challenge. (HubSpot, 2023)

  • Only 18% of businesses are very satisfied with their lead generation efforts. (Ascend2, 2022)

  • Meanwhile, top-performing businesses generate 3.5x more leads than the average—and some of them get so many they literally have to turn them away. (Demand Gen Report, 2023)

How does that make you feel?

Are you in the top 3 positions when people search for your business industry?

How is it that some businesses are getting so many more leads that they have to turn them down while others are struggling to get enough? What is going on?

HAIL The Almighty Google.

We’re no longer in an era where customers ask friends, family, or neighbors for recommendations. They’re not saving your flyers, postcards, or mailers for “someday.” They’re not jotting down your number from a billboard or a truck wrap. They’re not calling back the friendly sales rep who left a voicemail. They’re not flipping through the Yellow Pages, or paying attention to TV and radio ads. Even online directories like Yelp, Angi, or HomeAdvisor? People are tuning out.

The old ways of getting leads are fading. Slowly but surely. And if you're still relying on them to grow your business—you're already behind.

Let’s be real—when was the last time someone flipped through the Yellow Pages to find a roofer or plumber? Yeah… probably never in the past decade.

Today, Google is the king of lead generation — especially for home service businesses. Whether someone needs a roof repair, a new HVAC system, or an emergency plumber, the first thing they do is whip out their phone and type something like “best roofer near me.” And guess who they trust to show them the right answer? Yep, the almighty Google.

While search engines like Bing and Yahoo still exist (bless their hearts), Google completely dominates the space. In fact, Google holds over 91% of the search engine market share worldwide

, and that number is even higher in the U.S. That means if your business isn’t showing up on Google, you’re practically invisible to most homeowners.

Here’s where it gets even more serious:

84% of homeowners use Google to evaluate and select a contractor before ever picking up the phone. (Source: Google/Ipsos Research)

But it doesn’t stop there:

97% of people learn more about a local company online than anywhere else. 70% of mobile searchers call a business directly from Google search results.78% of location-based mobile searches result in an offline purchase.

So if you’re still relying on word-of-mouth, mailers, or hoping someone randomly finds your website—you're leaving serious money on the table.

So, what's the takeaway?

More and more people will be using the internet to find businesses, whether that's service contractors, restaurants, or everything. Eventually one day everyone will be using the internet for every business search. And the people who ask for references, also known as word of mouth, will probably ask someone who found the business they recommend online.

Your next customer is probably searching for you right now on Google. The question is, are you going to be there. And not just be there not just on the internet, but on top of the search results. The only question is — will they find you… or your competitor?

What to do? What to do?

So, what is one to do if they want more high quality leads? Obviously the answer is to start bowing down to the almighty Google and ask thy Google to bless you with leads. But... That is not an easy thing to do.

I'm sure you already know that the whole entire world and their grandma wants to rank on top of Google. Trying to rank on top of Google is gonna take a lot of time and money. And a lot of businesses do not have the time and money to just throw away.

Especially time.

As a business owner I'm sure you are extremely busy. I'm sure you would like to hire someone that can deliver results and charge a fair price for it. But... Just like in the home services industry, that's not an easy thing to find.

I'm sure you rather do all the marketing yourself than hire a digital marketer that charges you an arm and a leg but does not deliver results. Yeah... Just like the home services industry, we all know there are a ton of internet marketers who are smooth talkers and promise businesses a waterfall of leads but just deliver a leaky faucet.

What about buying leads?

You can then of course buy leads from a lead source company instead of generating your own leads on your own or by hiring an expensive marketer. But... That's also another high risk gamble.

There are many home service contracting businesses who are infuriated with lead source companies because of the low quality leads they get from them. Who the hell wants leads that have been passed around by 5 or 10 different home service businesses?

And even if you get some good leads out of a lead source company, it usually not worth the investment. It sucks to know that you're always breaking even or just making a little more when using these lead source companies.

So.... What is one to do? What is one to do when they are tight in time, money, and do not trust digital marketers?

Well, if you're tight in time and money, the best option is to hire a digital marketer that is not that expensive but can still deliver results. Because eventually you will start getting high quality leads and then be able to afford paying more for digital marketing and in return get even more leads.

But that's the tough part. How do you find a cheap but good digital marketer?

Are you the savior?

You probably thinking that I'm about to say something like "and this is where I come in".

And yeah, I will say that but not yet.

Instead I want to show you what to look for in a digital marketer just in case you don't want to go with me. I just want you to go out there and actually hire someone good instead of wasting your money and then complaining on reddit or somewhere that digital marketers suck.

And yeah they suck. But not all of them do. There are good digital marketers out there. You just have to know what you're looking for. You have to remember, these guys are salespeople or hire salespeople just like a lot of the home services business. So you gotta watch for these guys just like you'll watch out for a contractor who comes and gives you a "free" estimate.

What is the best digital marketing strategy?

So, first things first. What is the best way to get high quality leads? There are two major ways you can get leads.

One way is to pay for for them. And I'm not talking about buying leads from a lead source or lead generating company. I'm talking about paying either Google or Facebook, which are the top places to generate leads, so they can put your ads in top of everyone else.

Now this is really good if you have a great ad and you have a PPC ad manager (either yourself or another person/team) who knows what they are doing. But, if you don't know what you're doing or you hire a bad ad campaign manager, then there goes a ton of money flushed down the toilet (or into Googles or Facebooks pocket).

As a matter of fact, most businesses fail to get good results from Google ads campaigns. As a matter of fact, a quick Google search result will show you that 9/10 businesses will fail to succeed on PPC ads. That's literally almost every business.

Why is that so?

My theory is that businesses and digital marketers fail to understand the customer buying process or customer journey. What is the customer journey? It is what a customer does before they make a buying decision.

Most people today do research and compare before making a buying decision. This is especially true when making an expensive or big purchasing decision and/or a purchasing decision where there is a lot of trust issues. And the home services industry happens to be a big ticket purchase decision and there is a lot of trust issues here as well.

But now think about what paid ads are expected to do.

When you pay for an ad, you’re hoping that click turns into a customer, right? But is that how people actually buy?

Think about it…

Most people don’t just click on one ad and throw their money at the first business they see. They compare. They research. They shop around. And that’s the thing: a click on a paid ad is still a cold lead. Just because someone clicked doesn’t mean they trust you yet. Unless your business already has a strong brand, a killer website, and a follow-up system that builds trust and guides people to buy—you're rolling the dice every time someone clicks.

Now here’s where it really sucks: clicks on those top ad spots? They cost a lot more. So if someone clicks your ad, checks out your site, and bounces… ouch. That’s money down the drain. And this is where most small businesses get burned—they spend money getting leads, but don’t have the follow-up game to close the deal. No nurturing system, no conversion. That’s why paid ads flop for so many people.

So, what is the solution?

So if paid ads are expensive, unpredictable, and honestly kind of a gamble… what’s the smarter move?

In my opinion?

Local search. Hands down, it’s one of the best ways to get leads—and here’s why.

First, the people searching “roofer near me” or “plumber in [your city]” aren’t just killing time. They’ve got a problem right now, and they’re actively hunting for someone local to help. That’s

buying intent on a silver platter.

You’re not interrupting their day like a Facebook ad—they came looking for you. Second, it’s crazy cost-effective. Sure, ranking on top of Google’s local results takes some upfront work—maybe even some investment—but once you’re up there? The leads start coming in like clockwork… and you’re not paying for every click. That means high-quality leads without the ad budget headaches.

2 Birds 1 Stone

And here’s the bonus most people overlook: to rank high in local search, you need great content. That content doesn’t just help you show up—it also builds trust, answers questions, and makes people feel confident choosing you . So not only are you getting found, you’re also nurturing leads automatically. High-intent leads, long-term results, and no more throwing cash at ads that may or may not work? That’s a win all around.

But don't paid ads show up on top of local search results?

Yeah, paid ads show up at the top of Google—that’s kind of the whole point, right? You pay to sit in the front row. But here’s the thing nobody likes to admit: most people scroll right past them.

Seriously, check out the following statistics that show how organic or local search ads just do much better than the paid ones:

User Trust and Click Behavior: A significant 94% of users prefer clicking on organic search results, with only 6% engaging with paid ads. This indicates a strong user trust in organic listings.

Click-Through Rates (CTR): The first organic search result garners approximately 39.8% of clicks, whereas the top paid ad receives about 2.1%. This showcases the dominance of organic results in attracting user attention. First Page Sage+1catchconvert.com+1

User Preferences: Around 70-80% of search engine users deliberately ignore paid advertisements, focusing instead on organic results. This behavior underscores the skepticism users have towards paid content. catchconvert.com

Conversion Rates: Organic search leads boast a 14.6% close rate, significantly outperforming the 1.7% close rate of outbound leads, including those from paid searches. This suggests that users arriving via organic search are more likely to convert. catchconvert.com+1catchconvert.com+1

Demographic Insights: Interestingly, political affiliations influence ad interactions. Conservatives are more inclined to click on sponsored ads compared to liberals, who tend to favor organic links.

This reflects varying levels of trust in marketplace systems among different demographics.

These statistics collectively emphasize the importance of investing in organic search strategies, as they not only attract more clicks but also foster greater user trust and higher conversion rates compared to paid advertisements.

One Final Thing

Before I how you why I just might be the digital marketer you’ve been looking for, there’s one last (but super important) thing we need to talk about— lead response time.

Here’s the deal: if you don’t respond to a lead within the first five minutes, you’re 21 times less likely

to turn that lead into a customer. That’s not a typo—21 times . Even crazier? 78% of customers will go with the first business that actually replies. So if you’re slow to respond, you’re basically handing your competitors the job.

Now brace yourself: the average business takes 47 hours to respond to a lead (yes, almost two full days), and 27% of leads never get contacted at all. That’s wild. All while your potential customers are clicking around and finding someone else who got back to them faster.

Even just waiting five minutes can tank your chances— conversion rates drop 8x the longer you wait. So yeah… speed isn’t just helpful, it’s everything. Here’s what it takes to win in this game:

The Ultimate Lead Secure System

So, how can I help you? How am I the saving grace or the holy grail to helping you get a ton of leads in marketing. Well first let me say that right now I'm offering a really good deal because I'm just starting my AI marketing agency. I have worked as a web designer and marketer before for other companies, but now I'm doing it on my own. And second, I will literally tell you everything I will do in order to help you get more leads and nurture them. The following list is all the things I will do for your business marketing. This is something many marketers or web designers really don't show. But it begs the question, how do you know they are doin g everything to get you leads? Well I'm not afraid to show you exactly what I'll do. Every single point on the following list is design to help you generate, nurture, or secure leads.

LEAD GENERATION + NURTURE + AUTOMATION

  • Optimize your Google Business Profile: A lot of businesses don't optimize or do not know how to optimize their Google Business profiles. Optimizing your Google Business Profile the right way can make a really big impact on your Google local ranking.

  • Register your business on as many directories: The more business directories your business is registered in, the more ranking power your website and Google Business Profile will have in search results.

  • Post every week on you Google Business Profile: Did you know that every time you post something on Google Business Profile, you get a lil boost in views/visitors to your website or Google business page? And did you know that posting consistently overtime will boost your local search rankings? I will post on your Google Business profile at least 3X a week.

  • Build you a high converting website: Your website is going to be the main way you will separate yourself from the competition. If you want to stand out, your website has to look better than the rest. Not just good — better than what your competitors are showing off. "A well-designed website can boost conversion rates by up to 200%–400%." — Forrester Research

  • Multiple ways to capture leads: If you want more leads, then you need a way to capture leads. And if you want catch the most amount of leads possible, then you need multiple ways to capture leads. What you need to know is: people don’t all convert the same way. Some want to call. Some prefer to book. Others just want to drop their email and go. If you're only giving them one option, you’re leaving leads on the table. I’ll implement a smart mix of opt-in forms, booking tools, call-to-action buttons, surveys, and more — so no matter how someone prefers to connect, your site is ready to capture them.

  • Every page on your website will be SEO optimized: H1 tags, h2 tags, meta titles, meta descriptions, and all the technical and boring stuff that comes with optimizing pages for local SEO. You don't have to worry about any of that. I got you.

  • Build a nurturing system that automatically sends messages / emails whenever someone connects with your business: What actually happens when someone fills out a form on your website? For most businesses — they just get a “thank you” and maybe a follow-up later (if at all). That’s a wasted opportunity. We will take a smarter approach. When someone opts in, we trigger a custom-built email and text sequence — 8 to 15 messages written to educate, build trust, and keep your brand top of mind without being pushy. This lead-nurturing system turns cold leads into warm ones, and warm leads into easy closes — sometimes, they even sell themselves before you pick up the phone.

  • Create 1-3 pages per week on your website to boost local search rankings: Having more and more high quality pages on your website will help you rank on top of Google Local Search. We will keep pumping them out till you rank on top.

  • Write 1-3 blog post every week on your website: A blog page is pretty much just another webpage but with a specific purpose: to educate. We will figure out the top question people are asking about your business industry and we will use the power of AI to research and create content for these question. The more questions we answer, the more likely you are to rank on top.

  • Retargeting campaign:
Picture this: A busy person is casually browsing your website during their lunch break, only to be pulled away by work. Later, while scrolling through social media at home, they suddenly see an ad on their phone reminding them of your site. How powerful is that? And get this—the best part is that it costs a fraction of what paid ad campaigns typically do, making it an incredibly smart and affordable way to keep your business on top of their mind. And top of mind = more likely to get the sale.

  • Implement chatbot AI on your website so it can respond to any questions and concerns your potential customer may have: Imagine having a friendly assistant on your website, ready to chat with visitors anytime. A chatbot isn't just about answering questions; it makes your site interactive and engaging, especially for those who don’t have time to dig around. It’s perfect for people who need quick answers and want to get straight to the point. But here’s where it gets even better: this isn’t just any chatbot—it’s a booking bot! Not only can it handle questions, but it can also schedule appointments for you. So instead of waiting for someone to fill out a form or call you, the bot can instantly book appointments and move your potential customers closer to making a purchase. It’s like having an extra sales rep on your team, working 24/7!

  • Voice AI: Part of getting more leads is also saving them. So I will implement voice AI into your website so you can have a voice AI agent that will handle calls while you're busy handling your business. Imagine your business having an extra, tireless team member who never sleeps—while you're busy taking care of your clients, a cutting-edge voice AI on your website handles calls, books appointments, and captures leads 24/7. Even when you're off the clock, this friendly digital agent is there to ensure you never miss an opportunity to connect with someone new.

  • Reputation management: In today's digital marketplace, reviews aren't optional; they're essential. A product with just five reviews is 270% more likely to be purchased than one with none. Consumers trust online reviews more than personal recommendations, with 54% relying on them over advice from friends and family Press Release Services. Every positive review boosts your credibility, making you the obvious choice over competitors. To solve that, I'll set up a system where, right after completing a job, your customer can simply scan a quick QR code or tap a review link from your phone to instantly leave their feedback. Every review adds to your credibility, making you the obvious, trustworthy choice over the competition.

BONUS

  • All in one inbox: Imagine this: You're juggling multiple apps—email, social media, chat platforms—just to keep up with customer messages. It's overwhelming, right? Now, picture all those messages flowing into one easy-to-use inbox. No more switching between apps, no more missed inquiries. Just a single place where you can see and respond to everything. It's like having a personal assistant who organizes your communications, so you can focus on what you do best—running your business.
