Hey, thanks for visiting my About page.
This is usually the part where people tell you about their awards, credentials, years of experience, or how great their business is.
Well, I’m not gonna do any of that.
Instead of talking about myself, I’m gonna talk about the principles my business stands for and, more importantly, how those principles benefit you.
Because at the end of the day, you probably don’t care how many marketing buzzwords I know.
You care about whether I can help your business grow.
So below are a few things I believe every marketer should stand for.
And hopefully, by the time you’re done reading, you’ll not only understand how I approach marketing, but also why that approach can help your business succeed.
Never Lie Or Deceive You
Yup. I’m not gonna make big claims or promises that I know I can’t achieve in order to get your business.
Never Respond Too Late
I get it. Life gets busy.
Sometimes we’re in the middle of work, with family, running errands, or dealing with a hundred different things at once.
But one thing I don’t do is leave people hanging.
If you reach out to me and I’m unable to respond right away, I’ll at least get back to you within 24 hours to let you know I received your message and when you can expect a proper response.
I think it’s frustrating when someone disappears after you’ve taken the time to contact them, and I never want you to feel that way.
You may not always get an instant response, but you’ll always hear back from me.
Never Be Rude To You
Who hates rude people?
Always Let You Know How Everything Is Going Every Step Of The Way
Have you ever hired a marketing agency that never really kept you up to date on what was going on?
Yeah.
It’s frustrating.
It’s like paying someone to build your house, but never knowing what stage they’re at, what they’ve completed, or when anything is actually going to get done.
You’re left wondering:
“Are they even working on it?”
“Did they forget about me?”
“Where is my money actually going?”
I don’t think that’s how a business relationship should work.
That’s why I believe in keeping you in the loop.
You’ll know what I’m working on, what has been completed, what’s coming next, and how things are progressing.
No guessing.
No chasing me down for answers.
No feeling like you’ve been forgotten.
Just honest communication and complete transparency.
Never Keep Or Hold Your Stuff
Whatever a marketer builds for you should be 100% yours to keep.
Your website and content.
When a marketer keeps your information, you have to stick with them pretty much forever.
Now, if that marketer is super good and never fails, then that’s great.
But if anything ever happens, you’re pretty much locked in and can’t do anything about it.
Well, actually you could.
You could start all over.
Would you be willing to do that?
Uphold My Guarantee
Have you read my guarantee?
Well, here’s a quick rundown of it.
I will literally give you every penny back if you ever feel like my marketing hasn’t been successful.
Yup.
I know I will be successful.
That, or your money back.
Never Take On Too Many Projects And Not Put Enough Time Into Yours
Your marketing will be successful.
I will make sure of that.
And one way I will do that is by putting in the time and attention it needs in order to succeed.
I’m not gonna be greedy and take on as many projects as I can just to fill my pockets.
No.
My main focus is success, then everything else.
Implement The 80/20 Rule In Everything
We all want results as soon as possible.
I know I do.
But the reality is that you can’t shortcut your way to lasting success.
That doesn’t mean you can’t speed things up, though.
One of the best ways to get results faster is by following the 80/20 rule.
In other words, focus on the few things that are most likely to make the biggest difference.
For example, if one service brings in most of your revenue, focus on improving and promoting that service first.
If one marketing channel consistently brings you customers, put more attention there before spreading yourself too thin elsewhere.
Too many people try to do everything at once.
A little bit of this.
A little bit of that.
And they end up making slower progress because their attention is scattered.
I’d rather focus on the things that move the needle the most first.
Then, once those are working, worry about everything else.
Because not all tasks are created equal.
Some can change the trajectory of your business.
Others barely move it at all.
