Go through each of these tasks through your head and tell me how time cringy they are:

  • Answer every phone call, even if you’re in a meeting, you’re having dinner with your family, or it’s 2AM in the morning, so that no leads go off to your competitor.
  • Go through all your inboxes, including text, email, and forms, and respond to every single one of them, so they don’t go off to your competitors.
  • Go through your calendar every time you need to book an appointment to see if you’re available. Then send reminders to make sure they show up. Then, if they want to reschedule, go through your calendar again, cancel an appointment, and find another available time slot.
  • Ask for a review every time you do a good job or service and respond to reviews so Google ends up loving you more.
  • Follow up with every lead at least 5 (recommend amount of follow ups) times after they call, message you, or submit a form .
  • Post at least once a week on all your social media platforms so your business looks active and not dead.
  • Send thank you messages and ask for referrals.
  • Send promotional messages here and there.
  • Call or message each customer to tell them happy birthday and give them a discount.
  • And actually running the business…

I mean, at this point, even Superman is starting to look underqualified.

As you can see, these tasks can easily eat up hours of your day.
